Nothing beats wedges! Who wants a table without French fries, especially at a celebration table like Christmas Eve? We’ve got you covered with these sweet savoury, aromatic, spiced up sweet potato wedges that will keep any tongue in awe while trying to figure which flavour gives those wedges it’s character.
Very simple, and easy! 3 steps only and you’re good to go: peel and cut, toss and mix, bake!
And why not involve your kids to help out in the kitchen?
How do you describe Christmas? To me, Christmas is all about the warmth of one’s home, the sweet, fresh, powerfully evocative smell of fresh rain, and holiday wishes made with gingerbread hugs and peppermint kisses.
But this Christmas and at The Shared Diaries blog, we’ve decided to go bold and recreate the famous gingerbread cookie with a healthy twist.
So instead of the artificial sugar, we’ve decided to give maple syrup and coconut sugar a chance to stand out. We also decided to make it vegan so the tiniest baby can even enjoy.
This is the perfect combination of healthy, tasty, and fun in every bite. The sound effect when chewing makes the kids feel happy while eating these chips. We all know that the benefits of kale are numerous, but how about adding some more super food ingredients to it? Sounds like a supersonic food, right?
A little message from Yasmina:
Now that schools are starting, I receive so many messages about recipes for snacks, especially from mothers with picky eating children, or mothers fearing school negative peer pressure influence. Their main demand was something delicious, mimicking store bought junk and items which are safe to pack in a lunch box.
I feel so honoured to share a few of my recipes on this blog specifically, because the people sharing their diaries are mothers first and foremost, and secondly genuine amazing people that I am proud to call my friends.
